Biografia
Nasce a Milano il 9 febbraio del 1972 da una famiglia dalle antichissime tradizioni artistiche che si è tramandata il sapere di padre in figlio fin dalla Firenze del ‘500.
Artista internazionale noto per opere come le Icone Dinamiche, che dialogano con gli antichi maestri (ad esempio, La Nuova Cena, la prima “nuova” dopo secoli di “ultime cene”) e per la misteriosa Pietà, il dipinto non fotografabile che dal 2009 si modifica inspiegabilmente dinnanzi agli occhi degli spettatori in grandi eventi istituzionali. Numerose sono le mostre personali e le rassegne di fianco a tanti maestri dell’Arte contemporanea, tra cui Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein e Jean-Michel Basquiat. È il fondatore del Metateismo, avanguardia artistica per un Nuovo Rinascimento che dal 2013 ha sfornato Manifesti pubblicati e tradotti in tutte le lingue, condivisi da migliaia di persone, sull’arte, la filosofia, l’economia, l’alimentazione e il profumo.
È Presidente del Centro Leonardo da Vinci – Art Expo di Milano, fondatore del movimento culturale del Nuovo Rinascimento e direttore artistico del relativo Festival, evento interdisciplinare in cui tra mostre, concerti, conferenze e spettacoli si riuniscono le Eccellenze culturali e imprenditoriali che con lui lavorano alla formazione di un Umanesimo 2.0. Intellettuale, performer, appassionato di antropologia e di filosofie antiche occidentali ed orientali, conferenziere di storia dell’arte e di evoluzione umana, poeta e saggista, imprenditore, Foschi rappresenta un vero e proprio “viaggiatore del tempo”.
Born in Milan on February 9, 1972, Davide Foschi comes from a family with ancient artistic traditions, where knowledge has been passed down from father to son since the Florence of the 1500s.
An internationally recognized artist, he is known for his Dynamic Icons, a series of works that engage in a dialogue with the great masters of the past—such as La Nuova Cena (The New Supper), the first “new” version of The Last Supper after centuries. Another of his most enigmatic works is Pietà, a painting that has defied photography and, since 2009, has mysteriously altered before the eyes of viewers during major institutional events.
His career includes numerous solo exhibitions and collective shows alongside leading figures in contemporary art, such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Foschi is the founder of Metateism, an avant-garde movement for a New Renaissance. Since 2013, it has produced widely translated manifestos on art, philosophy, economics, nutrition, and even the concept of scent — gathering the support of thousands.
He serves as President of the Leonardo da Vinci – Art Expo Center in Milan and is the visionary behind the New Renaissance cultural movement. As the artistic director of its interdisciplinary festival, he brings together cultural and business excellence in exhibitions, concerts, conferences, and performances, all aimed at shaping a Humanism 2.0.
A true time traveler, Foschi is an intellectual, performer, passionate scholar of anthropology and ancient philosophies from both East and West, an art historian and speaker on human evolution, a poet, essayist, and entrepreneur.

Con L’Illuminato, Davide Foschi compone l’apoteosi del suo poema sacro per immagini, che si snoda per tappe di progressiva ascensione. L’opera forma infatti un pendant con un altro simbolico dipinto, L’Eremita, e rappresenta l’approdo di un processo di affinamento dell’anima attraverso la purificazione dell’ego.
Se l’Eremita che tende alla Luce scala le vette del sapere attraverso le avversità, l’Illuminato ne incarna il compimento: è ormai immerso nella sapienza dell’Amore universale. Lo stadio dell’illuminazione conduce alla piena fusione tra umano e divino: l’Uomo tocca il cielo con un dito mentre il calice della Conoscenza trabocca, si espande, riluce.
L’uso del fondo oro amplifica l’aura mistica e atemporale del dipinto, mentre i passaggi cromatici e i tocchi di pennello contribuiscono a una straordinaria resa luministica, creando un’opera che emoziona per la sua potenza metafisica.

With The Enlightened One, Davide Foschi brings to completion the apotheosis of his sacred visual poem, unfolding through stages of gradual ascent. The work stands in dialogue with another symbolic painting, The Hermit, and marks the culmination of a process in which the soul is refined through the purification of the ego.
If the Hermit, striving toward the Light, climbs the heights of knowledge through adversity, the Enlightened One embodies his fulfillment: he is now fully immersed in the wisdom of universal Love. This stage of enlightenment leads to a complete union of the human and the divine: Man reaches toward the heavens with a single finger, while the chalice of Knowledge overflows, expanding and radiant.
The use of a gold background enhances the painting’s timeless, mystical aura, while the chromatic transitions and brushwork create an extraordinary sense of luminosity, resulting in a work that moves the viewer through its profound metaphysical power.
